Alongside our Film Program, learn from leading filmmakers, industry mavens, and the wealth of knowledge available at the dynamic, reknowned SXSW® Film Conference, featuring panels. workshops, meetings and one-on-one mentor sessions.
Consistently drawing large, dedicated crowds, SXSW Film Conversations feature Creative big guns and iconic film talent from the business, art and craft of Film, in discussion with journalists, bloggers, academics, peers, and of course, you, the audience.
SXSW Film Panels present topics from across the film spectrum with an emphasis on where the Film and Interactive worlds intersect. Topics for 2011 will include online marketing, transmedia, social networks, and the ever evolving landscape of distribution and exhibition, as well as entertaining discussions with filmmakers and industry veterans exploring their craft.

Employing a hands on approach, SXSW workshops run the gamut from explosions and indie pyrotechnics, to acting technique and beyond.

Mentor sessions consist of short, sharp, one-on-one encounters with select panelists across a huge range of disciplines.
